We are currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor to coordinate inventory and shipping activities in our busy warehouse.  This position requires the ability to identify, weigh, pack, label, and prepare standard and custom packages for shipment by UPS, FedEx, LTL, carrier, and customer pickup.  As hands on Supervisor, you’ll be working closely with the Shipping and Receiving Associate for following procedures, preparing shipping schedules, generating reports, and expediting workflow.  We’ll rely on your expertise to oversee shipments for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies, procedures, and customer work orders.  If you’re an experienced “roll up your shirt-sleeves” supervisor, with the ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment, read on!

We’ll count on your strong attention to detail for following packing instructions, completing bill of ladings for freight carriers, and verifying work orders for making accurate shipments.  Requires three years of directly related shipping and supervisory experience, along with basic computer skills for entering data into Company enterprise wide system, Fed Ex, and UPS Worldship software.   Physical requirements include operating various materials handling equipment such as forklifts, stacker trucks, and pallet jacks, and unloading trucks with heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.
